Story beats with summary underneath.

-Setting: old dusty garage with an old racecar.

2. Fade in- Close up of a work bench in the garage. Camera pans to show trophies, plaques and cheerful newspaper clippings. The announcer voice is heard saying, “…and he takes the lead again here at… (voice fades)... simply unstoppable.” Fade to black.
3. Fade in- close up of one of the wheels on the car. Camera pans from the wheel to the lower half of the door revealing the number 13. Announcer voice: “These two have been going at it all day… oh no! Car 13 has been forced off the track, he’s rolled into the swamp! Someone get him…(voice fades to static)” Fade to black.
4. Fade in- close up of workbench. Camera pans to show grim newspaper clippings, dead flowers and a smashed helmet. Another voice is heard saying through static, “The impact alone should’ve killed em. Who survives that, as well as being upside down in a swamp for as long as he was? I just… (voice fades to static)” Fade to black.
5. Fade in- close up of the driver door. Camera pans to show damage to the smashed in driver side. An older man’s voice is heard, “All we can do is pray. Things could go either way at this point.” Fade to black.
6. Fade in- View of the whole inside of the garage as the camera pulls back through a doorway. Man’s voice again, “(static)…numerous malfunctions with the equipment in his room. We’ve changed rooms but the malfunctions occur in each room he is in. Recovery is unlikely. (voice fades to static)” Slow fade to black. Slightly longer pause.
7. Fade in- camera turns into doorway and starts heading up stairs as if in 1st person POV. It’s dark except for a sunny yellow glow coming from the hallway at the top of the stairs. Reporter’s voice, “Today is a happy one. He has woken up and is expected to make a full recovery. He is expected back at the wheel by… (voice fades to static)” Fade to black.
8. Fade in- camera is at the top of the stairs heading through the sunny doorway. Woman’s voice, “I was on my usual rounds…(static) I went into the room…(static) it was horrible! The bed…(static) it was eating him!” Fade to black.
9. Fade in- The camera is heading down the hallway towards a main room. The sunny glow is revealed to be a knocked over yellow lamp at the entrance of the room. Man’s voice, “At first, it was just the equipment from the rooms he had been in…(static) its spreading. Attacks in surrounding buildings have been reported.” The static turns into another man’s voice, “Must’ve been something left from the swamp…(fades to static)” Fade to black.
10. Fade in- camera enters the room and aims at the floors. Pans to shows various objects/debris scattered. A voice is heard over lots of static, “It isn’t just small objects anymore!…(static) whole building moved…(static)” another voice is heard from the static, “…any survivors out there…(static) please contact me...(voice fades to a static silence)”
11. The camera tilts up to show a couch with fangs, bloodstains, etc. It quickly faces the camera as if startled. It grunts like a horse and then runs and crashes through the window/wall and falls out of the room. On its way out, it knocks a clock-radio off of a table. Upon impacting the floor, the display on the clock-radio lights up and it starts playing happy, relaxing music.
12. Through the hole in the wall, a cityscape is seen in the background with a few buildings shifting around between columns of smoke.

- A racing prodigy is involved in a crashed. While in the hospital, something left on him from the crash makes equipment around him start malfunctioning. A nurse finds him being eaten by his hospital bed which has come to life. More and more previously inanimate objects come to life until entire buildings are rampaging. Everyone is killed by these objects. Happy music is played at the end.
